The undefeated and eighth-ranked Wabash College Little Giants survived a scare from the Franklin College Grizzlies in a men's basketball game at Franklin, Ind., on Dec. 29, 2010. Only a month earlier, on Nov. 20, Wabash had rolled over the Grizzlies, 96-55, in the final game of the Little Giant Tip-Off Classic in Crawfordsville, Ind. But in the rematch at Spurlock Center in Franklin, where these images were taken, the Grizzlies gave the Little Giants all they could handle, coming back from an early 17-point deficit and even grabbing the lead briefly in the second half, before succumbing, 77-74. The Little Giants' Derek Bailey (41) iced the victory by sinking two critical free throws near the end of the game. Wabash improved its record to 12-0 and had a much-anticipated home game looming against top-ranked Wooster College on Jan. 8, 2011.
